Soft pastel colors always on trend. Not only it gives a soft, compelling look into your room, it's balancing the room scheme. It's easy to bring pastel color as the main ingredient in planning the room theme. Pastel would be good in any situation, it saved a boring plain room to be more cheerful in a subtle way.
The easiest way is to pairing the pastel with clean white. The pastel would be popping up and more apparent to the eye. Choose pastel either way on the furniture or other interior element, and let the rest with white. Cool tone white will bring the pastel yellow more contrast, while warm tone white will bring the best of pastel blue or green.
Playing with pattern also become a way to incorporate pastel color for more unique and funky vibe. Choose a modern pattern and paired it with cool tone pastel to get this crisp looking bathroom.
If you want to use two pastel color, choose the complimentary color to harmonize it. Green with coral or orange shade would look great. Adding a different pattern on the furniture and the floor could enhance the room.
Using a different pastel color on each room to differentiate the function of the room. Add some deeper shade to make it more interesting and not flat. Pastel furniture could make the room more inviting and comforting. With a good natural lighting, it would make a serene spot in your home. Adding a wood texture here and there, it will warm up the room.
Pastel bubble gum shade always be my favorite. It makes a sweet and cheerful atmosphere to the room. Adding an accent color like gold or silver will elevate it, and not only for the kids, adult will love to spend some time in this room too.
Pastel color could be a centerpiece, how to do it is by letting it all in neutral shades, and then add one pastel color for one interior element, it could be a furniture, wall, floor, ceiling, or accessories.
Decorating a kids zone is always fun to use a light pastel shade. The playful shades like yellow and pink is perfect for this kind of theme. Just make the furniture simple and making the wall as the eye catcher.

Pantone's color of the year for 2017 is here!, it's none other than "Greenery". I was quite attached to this color already because it's very fresh and neutral as it blends with other colors very nicely. They said it could brighten up our life after such a calm and soothing surrounding with 2016's colors, Rose Quarts and Serenity.
"A refreshing and revitalizing shade, Greenery is symbolic of new beginnings. Greenery is a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew. A life-affirming shade, Greenery is also emblematic of the pursuit of personal passions and vitality."
Accompany Greenery as the 2017 color of the year, there is ten range of beautiful shade that I absolutely love. Some of my favorite is Greenery, Pink Yarrow, Lapis Blue and Flame. I've already picked up an inspiration for you, check it out:
