      Designing a home theater or a media room could be complicated. There is so many things must be done for your cinematic experience at home. Here are some of tips and ideas for designing a home theater.

      You can choose the neutral colors such as brown or beige, as the room scheme. It will not give any odd ambient light that will effect the colors on the screen.
      Choosing your media room with fewer windows. Too many windows could reflect the sunlight on your screen. If your room has a big window, make sure you put curtain with dark color such as black, grey, or dark brown to minimize any sunlight at the day.

      Take attention into your sound system. Place the speakers and woofer on the front room, and the other speakers on either side behind your viewing position. As for the screens, optimum distance you can use is 7.5 feet for 60-inch-wide TV or 1.5 to 2.5 times the diagonal width of your screen.
