Traditional Home Theater by Salt Lake City Interior Designers & Decorators Harman Wilde
You can choose the neutral colors such as brown or beige, as the room scheme. It will not give any odd ambient light that will effect the colors on the screen.
Choosing your media room with fewer windows. Too many windows could reflect the sunlight on your screen. If your room has a big window, make sure you put curtain with dark color such as black, grey, or dark brown to minimize any sunlight at the day.
Using wall to wall carpet and acoustic wall panels to minimize and absorb sound or echoes.
Take attention into your sound system. Place the speakers and woofer on the front room, and the other speakers on either side behind your viewing position. As for the screens, optimum distance you can use is 7.5 feet for 60-inch-wide TV or 1.5 to 2.5 times the diagonal width of your screen.
What kind of media room or home theater that you prefer?
